It offered none of the value its price implies and was far from a luxury, welcoming stay. Positive: The villa is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bed linen is lovely. The terrace is beautiful, well sheltered from the wind, with many sunbeds and a cute little pool, which we are enjoying. Having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is also very convenient for our joint family. Negative: -For €3,400 for 5 nights, we expected a genuinely luxurious villa, but reality does not match description. The villa is under‑equipped and missing basic essentials: no shampoo, conditioner, showergel, no sugar, coffee, pepper salt, and small cooking pans for 4 people, not 8. Not enough terrace chairs, only one set of keys for 8p, and downstairs shower does not get warm. No cleaning materials at all (no dustpan and brush, vacuum cleaner, broom, or cleaning liquids, laundry detergent, dishcloths, sponges, or kitchen towels; insufficient toilet paper, no bin bags). With 8 people, small messes are unavoidable, and without any way to clean the floors, insects are naturally attracted. We had over 50 woodlice and some ants. Expecting short stay guests to buy these basics is unreasonable at this price. -Only 1 set bath towels pp fr 5 nights. No pool or beach towels, no beach umbrella: Unrealistic to expect guests to check every amenity in the advert, especially when most people fly with limited luggage. -they repeatedly asked to pay €160 cash for an in‑person check‑in. In a villa advertised as “luxury,” welcoming guests shd not feel like a burden. A simple key box solves all. In the end, both we and the check in lady forgot about this fee. Charging for a simple handover on top of €3,400 feels like a hidden cost and inhospitable. -A faulty water pump next to bedroom switched noisily on&off for 2 nights, disturbing our sleep. It was repaired, but it did affect our stay, they could have informed us beforehand as it was a known issue. -We felt uncomfortable discovering what looked like security cameras in the lounge. We were later told they were alarm beams, but they def did not look like that & it affected our sense of privacy. -We contacted agent during our stay to solve abov. reply contained no apology, only defensive explanations, an offer of late check‑out, which we did not need.
